Por fin un proyecto de coches.
Hace algún tiempo me estuve
planteando cambiar de coche y en la lista aparecía el Fiat Tipo.
Un modelo con un precio muy
atractivo, capacidades mas que suficientes pero con un no-se-qué, que no acaba
de verse bonito.
Hay una escuela de pensamiento en
diseño de automóviles que proclama que un conjunto de detalles bonitos hace un
coche bonito. Es una bonito mantra, pero coches como el Tipo o el Renault Alpine demuestran que no es una verdad
absoluta. Necesita un Tunning de marca.
FCA cuenta con recursos mas que
suficientes para crear esta versión. Mopar, Alfa Romeo o Dodge SRT pueden ser
estupendos donantes sobre los que Abarth aplique su propia magia.
Mi propuesta es una receta
clásica. Mas bajo, mas ancho, mas agresivo. Lo mas interesante puede ser esto
último. Me encanta la frontal pero para un deportivo propongo una nueva calandra
con unos grados de inclinación para aumentar el aspecto agresivo sin
modificaciones estructurales. También bajo un poco el escudo.
Los ejes y las aletas deben ser
un poco mas anchas también. Las aletas comenzarían a ensancharse bajo la actual
superficie del hombro y para acentuar el nuevo ancho he añadido unos arcos
plásticos al estilo Rally.
La defensa frontal es nueva pero
buscando evitar cambios estructurales. Muy inspirada en el Abarth 124 actual. Las
piezas en color rojo mejoran la calidad percibida respecto a los adhesivos.
Las llantas de palo bastante
grueso para atraer la mirada hacia la parte baja del coche y alojar los frenos
mejorados. Los apuntes en rojo también buscan reforzar la imagen de aplomo,
insinuar que hay una mecánica deportiva, cosa a la que también contribuye el
capó en negro, que idealmente sería realizado en Carbono, así como el estribo y
la firma de marca sobre la brillante tira roja.

New Car Project at least.
Some time ago I was thinking to change my car
and in the list there was the Fiat Tipo.
A very affordable model, great capacities and
it’s near to be a beautiful car, but only near.
A line of thinking in Car Design says that a
joint of fine details make a fine car. It’s a good mantra but cars like the Tipo,
or the Renault Alpine, shows that it’s not an absolute truth. It needs an in
house tunning.
FCA gets all the necessary to made it. Mopar,
Alfa Romeo or Dodge SRT could be great donors of parts to start with, and then
Abarth put his own magic too.
Mi proposal is a classical recipe. Lower, wider
and more aggressive. The most interesting could be this last. I love the front
but for a sports car I propose a new grille tilted down some degrees, to
increase the fierce aspect without touch the structure. The logo will be a bit
lower too.
The axes and wings must be a bit wider too. The
wings will start to increase their grown under the actual shoulder surface and
to focus the new wide, I added plastic arcs remembering the rally ones.
The front fender is new but avoiding structural
changes. It’s very inspired on the actual Abarth 124. The red parts make the
quality perception better than decals.
The wide stick rims are to pull the attention
to the bottom area and create space for the Brembo brakes, creating the idea of
a great mechanical power. The black hood, made in carbon fiber, relate to the
same idea. Such as the side step and the brand signature over the bright red
line does.
